Based upon the data provided, one can see that the expected income by the month has been on a steady decline. It’s no difficult job to put forward some factors to account for the phenomenon. To begin with, with the rapid development of the Chinese higher education, the number of university graduates has been growing significantly. To put it in another way, the competition of the job market has been increasingly fierce. Furthermore, we must admit that a good many graduates have turned down-to-earth and taken a rational and objective attitude towards their ability and value. Finally, the fact cannot be ignored that the young have come to place more emphasis on the choice of lifework instead of monetary rewards alone. Considering what has been argued above, we may safely come to the conclusion that this trend is normal and therefore acceptable. Accordingly, it’s of no necessity for the public to regard it with too much anxiety.
