答案 Ideal Friends in My Eyes Friend is better than fortune. Friend is worse than poison in some cases. The above two statements are opposite and seem to be unreasonable, but they can be explained as follows: The latter implies all evil friends who lead us to a wrong direction. The former refers to all good friends who drive us towards good. My ideal friend is of course a good friend whose goodness is shown as follows: he has no bad habits, such as smoking and drinking. He studies diligently so as not to waste his golden time. At home he honors his parents and loves his brothers; at school he respects his teachers and sympathizes with his schoolmates. He treats those truly who are true to him. He never speaks of other’s evils, nor does he boast of his own merits. In a word, he has all the characters better than mine. I can follow him as a model. By his words I am aware of the danger of doing a wrong deed. By his help I can overcome all difficulties. Indeed, ff I have such a person as my friend, I shall never fear difficulty and I shall never know the existence of the word "failure".
