Two reasons can account for this phenomenon. For one thing, such people are quite lazy—dreaming takes little effort, while beginning a grand mission needs both courage and determination. For another, the beginning is often the most difficult part. Well begun is half done—if we can have a smooth and satisfactory beginning, the daydream is no longer a daydream but an attainable goal. If we have a great aim, let’s begin working towards it now, because we should never put off what we could finish today until tomorrow.
