The above picture portrays a ridiculous scene in which a man is being walked by a savage dog named "bad habit". The scared man deeply regrets feeding the dog when it was tiny and seemingly cute. This picture, in a humorous way, indicates that if bad habits are not nipped in the bud, they will become ingrained in a person and then capable of subconsciously manipulating his behaviors towards destructive ends. This message is an insightful reminder for everyone. Certainly, every person has bad habits. Some people may be in the habit of speaking rudely, some tend to be deaf to others’ opinions and some are inclined to delay. If these bad habits are allowed to be developed, they will get out of control and become big obstacles to life or the career. For example, a delay-prone person will hardly restrain himself from missing the deadline. Understandably, he will have few chances to be entrusted with important tasks and then will barely be professionally experienced enough to gain promotion. Bad habits will probably make it impossible for us to achieve our ambitions. Therefore, we should be alert to our bad habits and make persistent efforts to break them.
