答案 Examinations The main task of the college students is to acquire knowledge. Then, the main purpose of examination functions as a check—whether or not a student has the required knowledge. Examinations can let students know why they should spend more time studying, help them find their weaknesses, and also help them discover their gifts, interests and possibilities. Of course, examinations provide grades. But, students should have right attitude to them. Don’t worry too much about a single test if you fail. Just draw lessons from the failure, sum up your experience, build up self-confidence and study even harder. Only in this way, can you improve your grades and not lag behind. Examinations may also cause bad effect. In order to pass examinations, many students only cram what they learn. So the content of examinations should be more questions that test students’ ability to use their heads, ability to think clearly and reason logically.
