答案
My Ideal Job Different people choose different jobs according m their interests and ability. Some want to be scientists, while some choose to be doctors. As for me, my ideal job is to be a teacher. I’d like to be a teacher because I like the pace of the academic calendar. Summer and winter vacations offer an opportunity for laxation, research and writing. I’d like to be a teacher because teaching is a profession built on change. When the material is the same, I change — and, more important, my students change. I’d like to be a teacher because I like to ask questions that students must struggle to answer. The world is full of right answers to bad questions. While teaching, I sometimes find good questions. So teaching gives me pace and variety, and challenge, and the opportunity to keep on learning. However, the most important reasons why I want m teach are that my students will grow up and change in front of me. Some will become university students with academic success and find good jobs; some will become interested in the urban poor and served as civil rights lawyers. What’s more, teaching offers something besides money and power: it offers love, not only the love of learning and of books and ideas, but also the love that a teacher feels from his or her students. During the following years, I will try my best to prepare for my ideal job and hope that I will become an excellent teacher in the future.
