答案 To Restore Historical and Cultural Relics Recently, there is a heated debate on whether to restore historical and cultural relics which have been badly damaged. Some people think that they should be left as they are. However, in my opinion, these relics should be restored. For one thing, historical and cultural relics are of great archaeological value. If carefully restored, they will help us better understand our history. For another, historical and cultural relics are invaluable assets passed down by our ancestors. It is our responsibility and obligation to hand them down to later generations. Therefore, we should restore them as well as possible. Otherwise, there would be no relics for our offspring to see. Currently, many relics in the Palace Museum are being repaired. Meanwhile, a lot of relics elsewhere are being neglected or even destroyed. I hope in the future we human beings can put more efforts into the restoration of relics for their own value and for the benefit of our descendants.
