There is a park near the lake in my neighbourhood. It takes me about 15 minutes to walk there. Many citizens like to spend their weekends in the park. - What are the things people can do there? People can walk or cycle in the park. As it is near a lake, there are people punting on the lake as well. - Do you enjoy spending time there? Why or why not? Sure, I like going there all the time. Because there are many trees in the park, it stands as a natural barrier to all the pollution and noise in the city. It is very comfortable to sit on one of the benches in the park and spend a whole afternoon there. - Are parks important? Why or why not? I think parks are very important in cities. Because people stay in their home, office or buses for a very long time during the week, they would love to spend their spare time somewhere near to the nature. Besides, parks also make the city more beautiful.
