   to describe the processes involved in the implementation of
   language assessment instruments. We briefly review here some
   illustrating studies that deal with the learning and recall of 【M9】______
   vocabulary, the strategies involving in taking listening and 【M10】______
   reading comprehension tests, the validation of self-assessment,
   and the relationship between metacognitive and cognitive
   strategies and performance on language tests.
