Gas oil and electricity only account for a minor share, representing 0.4% and 3.5% respectively. Because of the lack of infrastructure, such as electricity poles, wires and gas pipelines, people living in those areas are still dependent on primary sources of energy, to name just a few, straw, firewood and coals. In conclusion, to ensure energy needs are met in the remote areas, money should be invested to improve the infrastructure and alternative energy sources must be exploited.
