答案 On the Awareness of Safeguarding Public Health Over the past few decades, with the great improvement of living standards, people have paid more attention to building a healthy and comfortable home environment, but in the meantime have shown indifference to public health, and even have exchanged the public health for personal comfort. It is undeniable that people’s awareness of guarding public health has declined. Bad manners are easily spotted everywhere, such as spitting, littering and smoking in public area, which not only mirrors the loss of basic qualities of a modern citizen, but also does harm to the development of social progress and human civilization. It is imperative to make all people realize that safeguarding public health is of great significance to personal health, environment and even national image. Otherwise, if we keep on doing like this, infectious diseases will rage through the whole country, our beautiful homeland will become a garbage dump and eventually we will be isolated from the rest of the world. From my point of view, effective measures should be taken to arouse people’s awareness of guarding public health. First of all, a nation-wide campaign must be launched to spread the importance of public health among the general public. In addition, relevant laws and regulations shall be set up to urge people to guard public health. Only by doing these things can we build a comfortable and civilized society.
