On NEET The comic above shows that a son just tells his mother all his friends of his age are struggling and moving the bags back in with their parents, which vividly illustrates the modern phenomenon that more and more adults are extremely dependent on their aging parents, which are called NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). However, as for me, adults under the current situation should not rely on their parents so much. Though it is admitted that we encounter more financial troubles due to the new patterns of social life, we are not supposed to turn to our parents unconditionally. Firstly, our parents have already completed their task of raising us because we have already grown up. Sacrificing so many years for sheltering and feeding us, they deserve to enjoy the twilight years without any burdens. Secondly, we should learn to become independent and tough thus we can manage our own lives. Only in this way can we lead a meaningful life in the future without our parents’ assistance. In a word, we may ask parents for help when in trouble. But we cannot take it for granted that parents are accompanying us all the time. It is time for us to be independent.
