At the first stage, probably talent could help them memorize a word or mimic a native pronunciation much quicker than the less talented people. But ultimately, their tricks will run out of effect. In conclusion, the best scenario is to have both talent and hard work. If not, we should work harder. As Thomas Edison said, "There is no substitute for hard work".
