Where was Abraham Lincoln born?

Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky on February 12,1809. His family moved to Indiana and then to Illinois. Abraham was a person who loved to read. He had to study and learn on his own. He studied law and was a lawyer for twenty years in Illinois. Abraham Lincoln became President of the United States in 1860. He was a good president and will be remembered for freeing the slaves. He was President of the United States during the time the Civil War was fought. The Civil War was between the northern states and southern states.
    Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States of America. He was shot by John Wilkes Booth in 1865. Lincoln died the next morning. Lincoln’s birthday is celebrated in February of each year.
