Some are for used items, like mobile phones, bikes; some others are for house renting; still others are for small clinics that claim to specialize in various difficult diseases. What does this patchwork bring to the public? We can easily find the answer from the boy who is confused about where to put the soft-drink container, and the angry man behind the stop sign anxiously reading the stop names already covered by patches of small ads. As a matter of fact, these small ads not only bring inconvenience to the public, but also spoil the environment. They are just like the ugly patches on the beautiful garment of our city. What’s worse, these small advertisements are illegal, spreading false information that may trap the gullible people or those who are eager to solve their problems. So, we should take effective measures to stop this kind of immoral behaviors. We can use the telephone numbers and addresses as clues to track down those advertisers and impose punishment on them. Otherwise, we can never clean up the environment, or protect the public benefits.
