This reflects that reducing our carbon footprints is a hot topic these days. With the promotion of environmental protection among people, it has become fashionable to live a low-carbon life. The use of fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which affects the ozone layer in a negative way. By eating less animal fat, using less electricity, saving water and gas, limiting car journeys and reducing the air transport of food and products from faraway places, we can have a positive effect on our environment. When we realize that we are leaving carbon footprints in the atmosphere, we can reduce the damage we are causing to the ozone level by leading a healthy low-carbon lifestyle. Only in this way can we keep the balance between development of the society and health of the nature.
