Why does the man suggest the woman go and speak to Marianne?

W: I just repainted my place, and I need to buy some new furniture.
M: You should go and speak to Marianne. She recently redid her place, and it looks amazing. I know that she took an interior decorating course during college, but I didn’t think she was that good. I personally think she should have pursued a career in that field.
W: Really? I am going to speak to her right away. I really need someone to help me with this kind of stuff. Whatever I do, it just doesn’t look right.
M: She’s gone out to see a client, but she is expected to be back in an hour.
