答案 Dear Editor, I am writing to point out that the traffic in our city is getting worse. The major cause of the worsening traffic in our city lies in the increasing number of private cars. It is true that all the factors such as the poor road layout and the constant road construction are holding up our traffic; however, apart from those relatively fixed and occasional factors, the number of private cars we pull onto the road should be taken under control. I highly recommend that the government continue tightening the quota for car license plates and that the private car owners save their steering for more necessary circumstances like emergencies, instead of throwing themselves into the already "rushed" rush hours, When public transportation, more often than not, may deliver us to our destinations at a more incredible speed.
