答案 As can be seen in the picture, a student is rowing a boat laboriously across the sea. The boat is filled with all kinds of exam papers. Under the picture, the caption reads: "Endless exams, poor students! " This picture tries to draw people’s attention to the magnitude of the study load shouldered by Chinese students, who are much consumed by various tests. In my opinion, the study load of students should be lessened. Chinese students and teachers are much concerned with getting good grades. They are exam-oriented and prioritize tests over learning contents, which is actually putting the cart before the horse. Students learn, simply because they are forced by exams, not because they are driven by curiosity or pursuit of knowledge. In this case, once they pass the exams, they are more than ready to forget the contents they have learned, resulting in few of them committing to a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. In short, to rekindle students’ passion of learning, it is best to cut the all too many tests and allow students more freedom and time to enjoy their childhood and youth after study.
