答案 The Internet has exploded into our lives and become a staple of modern living. However, like anything else, it is also a double-edged sword to people’s life. But I am convinced in that the advantages of the Internet outweigh its disadvantages. On the one hand, it brings much benefit to us. Thanks to the Internet, we can communicate more conveniently through e-mail, MSN, and QQ; we can save a lot of efforts in doing tiresome work like calculating; we can also obtain information easily by browsing many websites. It is the Internet that makes our life more colorful. On the other hand, the harm brought by the Internet often bothers us. Our privacy may be publicized on-line by someone; teenagers may be misled by the pornographic information on the Internet; more and more people are addicted to computer games. To sum up, it is self-evident that the Internet has exerted great influence on modern life, either positive or negative. While we live more comfortably with the help of the Internet, we should also take effective measures to disadvantages.
