There was no hospital in this part of the country then and people had to go a long way to see a doctor. So the couple decided to build this hospital. Now the hospital has more than 30 doctors, over 50 nurses and 80 beds. It has become a model village hospital known far and wide. But it is still called the "Husband-and-Wife Hospital.
