答案 On the Significance of the Qing-Zang Railroad The Qing-Zang Railroad is a symbolic project in China’s West Development Strategy. It undoubtly will bring infinite benefits for the Tibet Autonomous Region even for the whole China. However, People’s views on this issue vary from person to person. Some hold that the railroad would destroy the traditional ethnic culture in Tibet. While others believe that the Tibetan traditional culture still needs developing through absorbing. As for me, I admit Tibetan fragile ecology needs protecting, but Tibetan people’s better life should be the priority. No one has the right asking Tibetan people to sacrifice their development right to remain the ecology balance for us. People from every corner of the world have the right to seek development, and live a better life. Besides, the Chinese authorities attached significant importance to this issue. We shall carry out cultural protection from taking some specific measures instead of sealing it and prohibiting it from developing, which is neither possible nor human. With the opening of the Qing-Zang Railroad, more and more Chinese and foreign tourists will come to Tibet. Thus, more people will learn and understand Tibetan culture, and bring forward the excellent traditional Tibetan culture. In addition, the railroad will also play a significant role in accelerating the social and economic development of Qinghai Province and Tibet Autonomous Region. I believe that the great Qing-Zang Railway will bestow Tibet a magical wing making it bring its beauty to the whole world.
