答案 In the picture a doctor wearing a stethoscope is treating his patient, a cook. Unexpectedly, he forcefully unclenches the cook’s mouth and stuffs a book, with "morality" written on the cover, into his mouth instead of prescribing medicines. In an exaggerating way, the above picture discloses a worrisome phenomenon in our society: some people, totally forgetting their responsibilities, are habituated to defy professional ethics to achieve their personal aims. Some cooks, focusing on fat profit by catering for customers’ appetite, abandon rules of some prohibited food additives and abuse them largely and frequently. Some doctors, enjoying a large amount of discount from expensive prescriptions, refuse to prescribe cheaper hut effective medicines to patients. Some officials, soaking themselves in seizing substantial re ward, prefer to abuse their authorities to help others gain illegal earnings at the risk of committing crimes. Money is what everyone pursues, but it shouldn’t he considered as the reasonable excuse of discarding due professional ethics. Just as an old Chinese saying goes, a gentleman is greedy but he earns money in a moral way. Only when everyone complies with professional ethics can our society become safe and harmonious.
