   You are Nick. You had promised to go to Mike’s party and take your CD discs to him. But for some reason you didn’t make it. Write a note to him, apologizing and explaining way you failed to keep your promise.
   Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness.

Of course I tried to phone you, but your number was engaged. And after that I was busy with my friend all evening. I hope you’ll understand.
