答案 In recent years, parents have attached greater importance to their children’s education at an early age than before. Foreign language learning, for its obvious value in modern world, has become the first choice. Different opinions can be perceived with regard to this phenomenon. One voice is that the earlier children start to learn a foreign language, the more they can benefit from it for the reason that foreign language learning achieves most at an early age. In contrast, other people argue that foreign language learning deprives children of the time they should spend exploring the world, which is irreplaceable in their growth. For my part, foreign language learning should never be put before children master their mother tongues, for children’s language skill needs to develop enough to accept a different language system.
