The only thing that does not change in the 21 st century is change itself, which is driven by technological developments and scientific breakthroughs in every aspect of our life(6)on an almost daily basis. It is change that significantly promotes living standards, and thus adds colour and excitement to modern life. (7)However, people with a clear mind are conscious of the problems change imposes on them. Industrial waste,(8)deforestation, acid rain and PM2. 5 are the(9)byproducts of modernization.
