Which country’s citizenship does Luis Posada Carriles have?

Venezuela has formally requested that the United States extradite a former CIA operator of Cuban origin. Luis Posada Carriles has Venezuelan citizenship. He is wanted for masterminding a blast in a Cuban jetliner that killed 76 people back in 1976. Posada Carriles, now 77, is in the United States, where he entered from Panama. He was in a jail in Panama for planning to assassinate Cuban leader Fidel Castro. He was amnestied by Panama’s previous President just days after she left office. Venezuela is asking U.S. authorities to ensure that the extradition takes place very quickly.
