答案 One Major Advantage of Private Schools The government’s decision to allow the spread of private schools is a very wise decision as far as I am concerned,and this has led to many benefits,chief among which is the fact that more students are allowed to enter university. This, to me, is the greatest advantage of private universities. Every year, millions of students take the college entrance exam. In 2008, 5. 985 million were accepted into university out of 10.5 million who took the exam. If there were no private universities, then those unlucky students who do not get in university at the first attempt would have to retake the exam the next year and then spend that year laboriously restudying everything again. Another option might be to apply to an overseas university, but only students from wealthy families can afford this. Private universities opening their doors to students who would not otherwise have had that chance creates a more educated and talented workforce that can benefit the country and economy as a whole. Therefore, the government should encourage even more private universities to start laying down new foundations. In conclusion, the existence of private universities gives hope to hundreds of thousands of students who might never have been privileged to enter university otherwise.
