答案
Should Food Be Banned on the Subway? Recently, some cities are considering to ban food on subways, which has aroused heated discussion. Some people support it due to the trash that people leave. Besides healthful and mechanical concerns, food can also cause fights, as was found some time ago that one passenger criticized a woman for eating stinky Tofu on the subway. However, some others are opposed to the idea. People like eating on the subway in the morning because they don’ t have enough time to eat at home. Sometimes that maybe the only time for meal especially when the commuters travel long distances. Besides, there are people, for example diabetics(糖尿病患者), who do need food at various times to maintain blood-sugar levels. Personally, I disagree with the ban because of the huge inconvenience caused to commuters. Still, I believe we should have some common politeness. I think we all have responsibility to treat our subway system and fellow riders with respect, and that extends to food as well.
