答案
The compass in the picture standing on its tiptoes, the symbol of a person, is running at full tilt in the sun. However, no matter what efforts it makes, what it draws is nothing but a circle. The caption on the left reads: If being self-Centered, a person is just a compass with two long legs at most. The picture aims to remind us of the significance of caring about others by satirizing those egocentric people. Putting yourself in others’ shoes is beneficial and fruitful. The more solicitude you show for others, the higher rewards you will receive. A win-win situation is what it directly endows. The establishment of Sino-US relation in 1972 is a best persuasive example. Given the world situation after World War II, it’s impossible for both countries to normalize ties according to general procedures. It’s Chairman Mao’s thought in American president’s place that helped design Henry Kissinger’s secret ice broken trip, which greatly reassured the president’s worries about China leaders’ attitude to the US and kicked off two countries’ "win-win" relationships. Consideration of others is not only a virtue of human beings but a fundamental aspect of civilized society. It makes us lose nothing but helps us obtain more. Do whatever to others as you would like them to do to you and your desire will come true.
