W: I don’t know why I let you talk me into going. I just don’t like violence.
M: I didn’t realize there would be quite so much. They just told me that it was about how two cops track down drug dealers. I thought we would enjoy a good action movie. Despite everything, though, the story was good.
W: Yes, it was very exciting and well written. And I must admit that the acting was superb.
M: I agree. Everyone in the movie played a convincing role. Tom Cruise performed especially well as compared with his last movie.
W: What I enjoyed most, though, was the scenery. Those shots of the Africa were absolutely breathtaking.
M: I guess they were nice, but I was so much interested in the story that I didn’t notice the scenery. I like a gripping drama, even if it is violent.
W: I don’t mind suspense, but I really don’t see the need to show all the bloods and guts.
M: But that’s life. You can’t hide from reality.
W: I know, but when I go to a movie, I want to be entertained.
