How many times has the National Hockey League allowed its players to take part in the Winter Olympics?

National Hockey League players will again be completing for their countries when the man’s hockey competition hits the ice on February 16th. They became eligible for the Winter Games in 1992, once the NHL has allowed its athletes to go to the Olympic Games only three previous times, in 1998, 2002 and 2006.

Tens of thousands of people have fled the conflict in northern Yemen over the past five months. And, they continue to leave in large numbers. A spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross, Dorothea Krimitsas, says the freezing temperatures are making the already dire situation of people fleeing their home even worse.
