W: Good morning, Chuck, are you also here waiting for Professor Johnson?
M: Oh, yes. Good morning, Lori. The professor asked me to come for an interview. Do you know about the job working as a teacher’s assistant?
W: Oh, yes. I know all about it as I myself did it last year.
M: Really? How did you like it?
W: Well, actually I think it was the best I have ever had at school. It paid nine dollars an hour, which was three dollars more than the school post office paid us.
M: Yeah, that is a good salary. What did you do?
W: My resposibility was to help Mr. Johnson grade the students’ homework. It wasn’t hard and the professor was always available if there were any questions.
M: I think I would enjoy such kind of work. And it would be very good working experience.
W: Absolutely. You can also learn how to use computer databases. That’s a good preparation for lots of jobs.
M: You’re right. But I’m a little worried about how much time it might take?
W: It’s pretty reasonable. Only about five or six hours a week. And you can do that in your room.
M: It sounds great.
