答案 Under the amusing appearance of the cartoon lies a thought-provoking scene: a wretched man, dragged by his undesirable habits, can hardly keep to a right way, regretting that his life has been spoilt as his tiny shortcomings grew into deadly ones. By this scenario, the cartoonist is imparting us the notion that never overlook the power of habits. Indeed, we have all stepped into the age of enjoying the convenience of familiar routine. Each of us seems to like the ease and happiness from daily routines, but not everyone has looked at the truth: habits, although most of us indulge in, are not necessarily beneficial to our quality of life. To be specific, in our daily life, it’s not uncommon that one with years of bad habit of smoking dies of lung cancer; or one with the habit of staying up late every night goes to grave earlier than peers. Evidently, we should take a rational attitude towards habits, but how? By family cultivation, parents should promote the awareness of various harms caused by bad habits. To put it another way, children should recognize the detrimental factors of certain habits as early as possible. Just as what the cartoon connotes, once they give up directing a habit into a better one, this habit may direct their life into a worse one.
