Dear Mr. Spencer,
It was a pleasure to receive your inquiry of September 25 concerning the supply of our best air conditioners. We are enclosing our price list in which you will find full details of our usual trade discount.
We note that you have requested an additional discount of 5%, and we would like to point out that the prices of our products have already been cut to the bottom, which cannot be offered by our competitors. We therefore regret that we are unable to allow you any discount in this aspect. You can, however, be sure that any advantage we receive in the way of manufacturing costs is always passed on to you in the form of lower prices.
In spite of the increased costs of raw materials expected next year, we anticipate being able to maintain present prices by improving our automatic assembly line. We hope we will keep in our friendly business relationship in the future.
We look forward to your early reply.
Yours faithfully,
Waiter Stevens
How will Walter Stevens be able to keep the present prices while that of those of the raw materials are going to rise?

选项
