Undoubtedly, television has become part of our life. As an important means of entertainment, television has great impact on children. On one hand, it extends their vision and expands their mind. On the other hand, however, as watching TV takes up most of the children’s free time, they have become addicted to it. And the indulging in TV will cause serious problems — they will become more passive in their daily life. As it has already been pointed out by some experts, TV is the easiest way to escape reality. Therefore, it is high time for parents to organize some leisure activities that might appeal to their children, instead of taking TV as the babysitter. Thus children can enjoy their childhood in some more positive ways.
