答案 Report of Canadian Current and Further Source of Competition This bar chart presents the competing situation of current and future source in oil and gas industry in Canada. Eight countries or regions are involved in the competition. According to the chart, the competitive ability of North America in oil and gas industry is 80% both currently and in the future. At present, the competition capacity of Russia is below 5%. It is not optimistic in the future since the figure is below 10% . Africa and Australia encounter the same situation as Russia. Although there are slight differences, the competition of sources in both countries is below 4% at present and will be below 5% in the future. The situation in ME is better. The competitive ability is round 5% presently and will be around 10% in the future. Europe, China and OAC are the three regions which have similar competitive ability in oil and gas industry. At the present time, with the figure over 30% , Europe is the most competitive one among the three while in the long term, China will surpass the other two since its potential competition ability is about 40%. It is not. difficult to tell from the chart that NA is the most competitive region around the world. At present, it has 80% competitive ability which is more than twice of that of Europe. In the future, NA will also occupy a lot of sources which defeats its possible rivals—China and Europe.As we all know, Canada is the main gas and oil producing country in NA, and new technologies have been developed according to news report. Therefore, it not only can meet the requirements of members in NA, but also is becoming a potential gas or oil exporting country. The global economy and politics will be inevitably influenced by this change. In short, Canada is very competitive in the oil and gas industry around the world at present, and its future is bright as well.It is becoming a rising star in the field of traditional energy industry.
