答案
Dear schoolmates, I’m writing to call on you to donate blood. I have heard that a severe shortage of blood is afflicting China’s hospitals and numerous blood banks have reported dangerously low supplies. I’m really worried about it. Potential risks should not be ignored. The most serious risk is that many vital operations may have to be postponed because of the recent acute blood shortage and then many patients’ lives will be threatened. To prevent the risk from becoming a reality one day, we should roll up our sleeves to donate blood. Donating blood won’t harm our own health, so I hope all of us can actively and voluntarily participate in blood donation. Your sincerely, Li Ming
