My friend(Jasmine)has a son who is not doing particularly well in his English classes at school. His English is actually quite good, but he’s lost motivation and Jasmine wondered whether it might help if he could be persuaded to do some more reading in the language. As you know, it’s very difficult to get hold of English books here and the ones in the bookshops are rather boring for a teenage boy. As you have two younger brothers, I thought you might have some suggestions about what he would enjoy. If you could choose a couple of books, Jasmine would be very happy to send money to cover the cost of the books and postage.
