答案 From this table we may see number of graduates in the United State by degree granted between 1995 and 2001. As we may see from the statistics, high school diploma has been in a steady rising in the past few years in the United States. In a matter of 6 years, there is a net increase of more than half million high school diploma. So is the case with associate degree. Although the net increase is not as great as high school diploma, there is a trend of rising with each passing year. Bachelor’s degree seems to be on a fluctuation. In 1995, the number of bachelor’s degree was 1,047,000. But this figure declined as time went on. 2001 saw a little increase of bachelor’s degree, coming to 1,037,000, but still a bit lower than the 1995 figure. Master’s degree seems to be stable in the past 6 years, with only a little increase of 2,000 in 1999 and 2001 respectively. Doctor’s degree is the most stable case of all. During the past 6 years, the number has remained unchanged. From the above cases we may come to the conclusion: the higher the degree, the more stable the education in the United States. (203 words)
