M: (22) Thank you for coming today to talk about the new recycling program on campus. You are the president of the Student Council. What are the features of your new recycling program?
W: Right now all recycling is voluntary, but in the near future it will be most likely compulsory. The recycling we’ve planned is really a three-part program: sorting, collecting and distributing.
M: Three parts? Could you explain the three separate parts? Do you think which part is the most important one?
W: Actually, The first part, sorting, is the hardest to get people to do. (23)Most people don’t like to take the time to separate their trash. And this is usually where most recycling programs fail.
