Although exhausted, he told himself to continue because that’s the path he has chosen all by himself. What this cartoon tries to convey is the importance of perseverance. Perseverance is an important character trait for success. It means to continue steadfastly, especially at times when things get boring or tedious. Starting new things, facing the unknown and coming up with unique solutions always will bring you a sense of excitement and accomplishment. Novelty is a great source of inspiration, but it’s not enough because the excitement fades. That’s why perseverance matters. What’s more, perseverance is the struggle against all difficulties towards one’s ultimate goal. In life, one will falter or fail at completing a task. However, by persevering and sticking to the task he will eventually attain success. Giving up is never a good answer; persevering to the end usually reaps great rewards.
