答案 The Problem of Juvenile Delinquency It’s universally acknowledged that the juvenile represent the hope of a nation. But nowadays robbing, fighting, school violence and even murdering committed by juveniles can be heard from time to time. We cannot deny the fact that juvenile delinquency, which is on the rise, has become one of the serious social problems affecting social stability. According to the statistics, juvenile delinquency accounts for more than 70% of the total criminal offences in China. Reasons for such an awful situation are rather complicated. One important reason is that our society is glutted with a great deal of unhealthy culture information. Many videos, games and websites contain negative contents ranging from gambling and pornography to murder and violence, which are frequently imitated by low-self-control teenagers. Another reason is that in China, many left-behind children in rural areas have great trouble in the aspects of psychology and communication. With the absence of parents’ love and proper guidance, they are more likely to turn into criminals. In short, juvenile delinquency is as much a fault with the young as that with the society. Firstly, both society and schools should take the responsibility for juveniles, creating a sound social environment and strengthening the education. More importantly, family education should be attached great importance to for it is the foundation, supplement and extension of school education.
