答案 The pie chart shows the time distribution of different activities pupils do on summer holidays every week. As we can see, besides sleeping and having meals, pupils spend most of their time taking training classes and doing homework, while recreational activities like watching TV, outdoors activities and extra-curricular reading only take up 11％ of their time! This chart reveals one of the negative influences today’s exam-oriented education system has on children—the utter imbalance between study and leisure activities, which do more harm than good to children. To be specific, long school hours, excessive homework and various training classes may knock children out, depriving them of the time and energy to learn about the world around them and develop their own interests. It’s very sad to see pupils lead such an unbalanced life at such a young age. Schools and parents are advised to decrease students’ study load, freeing up more time for them to learn about the outside world and pursue their interests.
