The picture, in an ingenious way,warns us of cherishing time. Nowadays, people feel time goes much faster than it did ten years ago. This is primarily due to the rapid development of the new technology, which brings a variety of entertaining ways to our daily life. However, people now tend to be easily distracted by their technical devices from their attention-demanding tasks. For instance, the notifications from smart phones and tablets can disrupt their task performance by prompting task-irrelevant thoughts. Consequently, we are wasting more and more time and getting increasingly inefficient and unproductive. Thus, it can be concluded that it is absolutely necessary for people, the younger generation particularly, to learn to manage time and make good use of it. In order to do so, the priority is self-discipline, which refers to preventing ourselves being distracted by any technical devices and concentrating on tasks. Only in this way, can we utilize more time on doing meaningful things rather than shopping online or playing video games.
