答案 As we can see from the picture, a disabled young man is making efforts to climb a hill. By the sweat all over his face, we may deduce that he may have a hard time before. But with his austere perseverance, he is close to his destination; the top of the hill. However, the meaning of the picture goes beyond mountain climbing. Rather, it proves that perseverance is a great element of success: those who persevere will win in the long run because their silent power grows irresistibly greater with time. According to recent studies, the quality many successful people share is persistence. They are willing to spend more time accomplishing a task and to persevere in the face of many difficult odds. Helen Keller is a proof that great things can happen to everyone, even though he or she may be handicapped, if he or she works hard and never gives up. Helen was born blind and deaf. However, throughout all her life, she never lost her heart. Instead, she kept on learning how to read and write and later became a very famous writer. Whether you are strong or weak, you must keep fighting to succeed. No matter who you are or what your position is, you must keep fighting for what you want to achieve. Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements , and impossibilities: it is this that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.
