答案 As can be seen in the picture, a group of people are presenting flowers to an elderly lady sitting on a wheel chair. They are all wishing the lady a "Happy Teachers’ Day". This picture intends to convince us of the impor tance of paying tribute to teachers. We should never for get what our teachers have contributed to us even though we have graduated and become successful in our own profession. Personally, I think most teachers are respected and deserve recognition. First, good teachers guide us to think independently. Take my literature teacher as an example. He never told us the answers to the discussion questions directly. Instead, he often asked a succession of questions according to our responses. Gradually, we developed our critical thinking ability and until today I still benefit from his "interrogation". Second, good teachers are our spiritu al mentors. They know how to encourage us, motivate us, and make us confident. They are attentive listeners, empathetic with what we have been through, and always ready to help us out of dilemma. All in all, we need to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers who have shaped us, enlightened us and guided us.
