Candidate B: I don’t think that staff that performs well at work should always be rewarded. Motivation stems from job satisfaction and not financial reward. Besides, staff should perform well because they get salary and fringe benefits. If they work overtime, they may get overtime payment. Of course, employer expects miracles from employees all the time. Sometimes, if the staff may not be able to repeat last year’s performance due to changeable conditions, the employer should not reduce his / her salary as well.
