答案 In cases where there has been an accident resulting in an injury, first aid must be given. In many eases all that is necessary is to give confidence and comfort to the casualty. Talk to the injured person, listen and reassure, where possible talk about things other than the accident. Ideally, all workers should know the principles and practice of First Aid. When there has been an accident and you are not qualified to give treatment, get help to the injured person as quickly as possible. On each section there will be a first aid box, on the box should be printed the name of the first aider for that area. Get to know who the first aider is and where he/she can be found. Remember it might be you that will require assistance so are prepared to help others. All accidents should be reported to the nurse, no matter how trivial they may appear to be. An accident form should be completed in case problems develop at a later. In high-risk areas there should be more than one nurse on duty to deal with accidents and emergencies.
