So issues concerning environment improvement have become top priorities for the city government. However, environmental problems are still there and further improvement needs to be made. Sand storms haunt the city, dirt the air and the streets in spring and winter. Cars give off poisonous gases which make people suffocate. So, environmental protection deserves our constant effort and time. In keeping its promise made to the world, Beijing government makes out policies and takes immediate actions concerning environmental protection. On the one hand, more trees and grass are planted not only in the city but also in the suburbs. On the other hand, factories which polluted the air are being moved out of the city. Unless proper actions to be taken can people in the world enjoy" Green Olympics".
